Travel tips and suggestions

hello everybody,

we are on cyprus for a couple of weeks and need some "general" informations:

where to go for a punk/hc/alternative concert? for a coffee or a beer with the chance to meet some political people?
is there any demonstaration/manifestation taking place? is there a calendar online?

we will be on the carnival parade in nicosia, are there other ideas where to go?

Well a good place in Nicosia to find people your looking for is in Faneromeni square in the old Nicosia. There are coffee shops and many political activists hang out there.

Tonight theres an underground hiphop party at mesogeios bar and many will be there as well..

Punk rock.. not so many events going on but there is a diy collective and some bands.. There a group in Facebook but not a webpage.. and you might find some people around the area told you too.
